    Shareable Agent Links

Give anyone a link that lets them talk to your agent — no login, no phone call

    Overview

A shareable agent link — the Voice Orb — is a public page where anyone who has the URL can hold a voice conversation with one of your agents. They do not need a urvo account, an invitation to your workspace, or a phone.

It is the fastest way to show an agent to somebody. Typical uses are demoing to a prospect, getting sign-off from a colleague who should not have dashboard access, and letting a QA reviewer exercise a change.

Conversations started from the link are real conversations: they use plan minutes and they appear in call analytics with transcripts.

    Create a link

    1. Go to Agents and open the agent you want to share.
    2. Click Share.
    3. Turn the share link on. This is what makes the agent publicly reachable, and the dialog states it plainly: anyone with the link can talk to the agent without signing in.
    4. Copy the link with the copy button.

    The link looks like this:

    https://app.urvo.io/orb/your-link-name

By default the link ends in a generated key. You can replace that with something readable, which is worth doing before sending it to a customer.

    • Between 3 and 40 characters.
    • Lowercase letters and numbers only, with single hyphens between words — for example acme-support-demo.
    • No uppercase, spaces, underscores, leading or trailing hyphens, or doubled hyphens.
    • Names are checked for availability as you type, so you will know before saving whether it is taken.

    Expiration

A link can be left open indefinitely or set to stop working after a period. Pick an expiry from the dropdown, or choose Never to leave it open.

For anything customer-facing, set an expiry. An unexpiring public link to a live agent is an open invitation to consume your minutes, and it is easy to forget one exists months later.

    Regenerating and turning off

Regenerate issues a new link and immediately invalidates the old one. Use it if a link has been shared more widely than you intended. This is not reversible — anyone still holding the previous URL will find it dead, so re-send the new link to people who should keep access.

Turning the share toggle off disables public access entirely while keeping the agent itself untouched.

    Limits and abuse protection

Because the page is public, urvo applies its own caps regardless of your plan:

    LimitValue
Calls per hour10 per link, per visitor IP address
Maximum call length10 minutes, after which the call ends automatically

These caps limit the damage from a leaked link; they do not eliminate it. Minutes are still drawn from your plan, so treat the URL as a credential and prefer a short expiry over relying on the rate limit alone.
